Euclinia longiflora
Long tubular buds open into fragrant white trumpet flowers — a gorgeous, unusual sight, and the source of this rare shrub’s common name. The light green, glossy foliage resembles coffee leaves, which makes sense: Euclinia longiflora is related to coffee and thrives in similar conditions.
Super rare and genuinely hard to find, this lovely shrub is a must-have for tropical gardeners. Easy to grow in the Wet Tropics with prolific flowering, it can also be grown in a pot as a houseplant, though it needs bright light to bloom well.
