A Compact, Colourful Costus
Costus productus, commonly known as Orange Tulip Ginger or Dwarf Orange Ginger, is a small, herbaceous costus native to southern Colombia and Peru. It stays genuinely compact, typically reaching around 0.5 to 0.8m in height, and produces bright orange to red bracts with yellow flowers that open one day at a time — and are edible too.

Where We Ship
We ship to QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC via Australia Post eParcel with tracking on every order. Flat rate shipping applies — see checkout for rates to your state. We are unable to ship to WA, SA, TAS or NT at this time.
When We Ship
Orders are picked and packed weekly. During extreme heat, we may hold your order for a cooler shipping window to protect your plants in transit — if this happens, we'll let you know via email. We don't ship into known heatwave conditions.
When Your Plants Arrive
Open your box as soon as possible. Even a few hours in a hot letterbox or on a doorstep can stress tropical plants. Give them a good drink of water and a light foliar spray of kelp solution, place them in a shaded spot for a day or two gradually increasing light to recover from transit, then plant out or pot up into their permanent position.
