We can’t stress this enough — Lilinoe in full sun in the Wet Tropics is something else. This very popular selection has large, closely packed foliage on an upright plant, in a bright rosy bronze colour that genuinely glows in the garden. It’s one of the most planted cordylines in Hawaiian gardens, and for good reason — the brighter the sun, the brighter the colour.
One of the Most Dramatic Colours in Landscaping
Lilinoe is one of the most dramatically coloured of all the cordyline varieties used in Australian landscaping. Leaves carry a pinkish-red tip that looks permanently sun-kissed, and the year-round colour pairs beautifully with deep green mondo grasses or darker-coloured cordylines for real contrast.
Fast, Easy, and Full of Presence
A signature plant of the tropics in the lily family (commonly called Ti, pronounced “tee”), Lilinoe is fast and easy to grow, forming tall canes to 1.2m or more. It prefers bright light to full sun — the more sun it gets in the tropics, the better it looks.

Every plant is soaked in a tri-kelp solution before packing to reduce transit stress and give your plants the best start. We pack using recycled boxes. Your plants travel secure, hydrated, and wrapped in materials we feel good about.
Where We Ship
We ship to QLD, NSW, ACT and VIC via Australia Post eParcel with tracking on every order. Flat rate shipping applies — see checkout for rates to your state. We are unable to ship to WA, SA, TAS or NT at this time.
When We Ship
Orders are picked and packed weekly. During extreme heat, we may hold your order for a cooler shipping window to protect your plants in transit — if this happens, we'll let you know via email. We don't ship into known heatwave conditions.
When Your Plants Arrive
Open your box as soon as possible. Even a few hours in a hot letterbox or on a doorstep can stress tropical plants. Give them a good drink of water and a light foliar spray of kelp solution, place them in a shaded spot for a day or two gradually increasing light to recover from transit, then plant out or pot up into their permanent position.
