Delivery Charges are flat rate for your order regardless of how many plants you buy. For Queensland the charge is $20, for New South Wales $25 and for Victoria $26. We send via eparcel with tracking. If you would like your order sent express, contact us for a quote before ordering.

We accept Direct Deposit, Paypal, Visa and Mastercard on the website. For pickup orders we only accept cash as we have no card facilities available at the nursery.

We send plants once a week on Mondays, with the cutoff for Monday shipping at 7 a.m. on Friday to allow time for order preparation. Orders placed after 7 a.m. Friday will be sent the following week. Average delivery times are about 3–5 days for Queensland, 4–5 days for NSW, and around 7 days for Victoria.

Heliconias, Gingers and Calatheas are generally sent as healthy rhizomes (often without leaves), torch gingers can be small barerooted plants.

Taros, alocasias and colocasias are generally sent as suckers/slips. Climbing aroids and Vanilla are sent as cuttings.

Cordylines are sent as small barerooted plants OR as small propagations in pots (usually rare ones).

​Shrubs and trees are sent in small pots as are most of our edibles. 

We think you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the size of our plants and rhizomes but if you have any questions about what you are purchasing please contact us BEFORE you purchase.The majority of our plants are between 20 and 57 cm long.  For some plants we have several options including bulk buy.

Sometimes we have to cut back foliage for posting which will not damage the health of your plants.​Please keep in mind we are a mailorder nursery so we are not sending big potted plants to you. 

​Photos on the website are of mature plants, in most cases you are puchasing an immature plant.

**We are primarily a mail‑order nursery**, and because of our location and weather conditions, visits work a little differently here. To make sure your visit is safe, efficient, and enjoyable, please read the information below.

Appointment Only We are not always available on site. All visits must be arranged by appointment, and we will confirm your time before you travel. 

 Weather Dependent Our access road is unsealed and includes a creek crossing. Heavy rain can make the road unsafe, and appointments may need to be postponed. 

Vehicle Requirements To reach the nursery, your vehicle must have enough clearance to cross the creek safely. Access is at your own risk. 

 No Retail Display Area We do not have a traditional retail area with plants laid out for browsing. Please send your plant list or place an order in advance so we can prepare your plants before you arrive. 

 No Pets Cassowaries live on the property. For their safety and yours, pets cannot be brought onto the property. 

Cash Only On‑site purchases are cash only. 

Footwear The ground may be muddy, uneven, or slippery depending on the weather. Closed shoes are recommended. 

We’re a tropical plant nursery so it’s a good idea if you live outside of the tropics to research the plants you are ordering thoroughly. Our plant profile pages and blog have plenty of information to help you choose the right plants for you.
